Siblings!

Gavin really likes to have Olivia in his room, and wanted to "snuggle" with her in his bed! He really is a proud big brother!

So as you can see, Gavin is adjusting pretty well! He still has a few moments which mainly occur when he's tired, that he wants us to "Put the baby in her bed." He's such a big helper though, and loves to get us diapers and help us bathe her!

Update about our doctor's appointments...

I just realized I never did update everyone about our doctor's appointments last Wednesday!

Olivia is doing fantastic...in 5 days she had gained 5 ounces going from 7 lbs 12 ounces at her discharged from the NICU, to 8 pounds 1.5 ounces last Wednesday. The doctor is thrilled with her weight gain and said that Tony and I should keep doing what we're doing, because it's obviously working for our peanut! Olivia was also measured again, and I think they may have gotten her length wrong at birth. On Wednesday they measured her twice, and came up with 20.5 inches both times...I highly doubt she grew an inch and a half in 2 weeks!

As for me, well...when I was discharged from the hospital I hadn't lost a pound--honest--because of all the fluid retention. As of my doctor's appointment I'm down 34 pounds!!!! I realize most of that is fluid weight, but man I wanted to jump for joy!
